"Come Fly With Me" was written in 1957 by Sammy Cahn and James van Heusen for Frank Sinatra and his new record album also entitled "come Fly With Me".
The record was released the year after and became one of many Sinatra successes in the 50’s. After the record release, the song was on Sinatra’s concert repertoire for countless occations. Many other artists have recorded and performed the song. One of the later is Canadian singer Michael Bublé, who also has an album recording bearing that title. "Come Fly With Me" is also featured in many movies, among these are "Catch Me If You Can" from 2002. This arrangement was written by Lars Erik Gudim for The Norwegian Air Force Band in Trondheim.
