Solo for jazz clarinet with concert band or soprano saxophone with fanfare band. Oh Lady Be Good! was the title-song of a 1924 musical by George and Ira Gershwin. Since then the tune has been extremely popular and has become the basis for improvisations by numerous jazz-soloists. There is a challenging clarinet solo in the style of Benny Goodman, which can be played ad lib. or from the written out solo in the part (in Fanfare for soprano saxophone).
