Avenue 'R', Rob Vuono - Big Band
Latin & World Beats
This is a great introduction into the world of Latin beats! It's a cha cha that has some really dramatic moments, even though the music isn't hard to play. The piano plays a major role and at one point, is featured with percussion for a very effective musical moment. All solos are written in to ensure success. This will be a fun moment in any concert!
Teach or perform this cha-cha style original with limited range and technical demands using little rehearsal time. Top note for the lead trumpet is only a third space C, and a D for the lead bone. Playable with only five brass. Highly recommended for beginning and developing ensembles.
