Eröffnungswerk Konzertstück Ouvertüre
The growth of young eagles into soaring adults is depicted in this well-crafted overture. The eaglets are first introduced in the poignant second theme of this sonata form work, then are heard soaring with the adults in a rousing climax as the two main themes are combined. This is inspiring music that could be the highlight of any concert or festival appearance.
